  1. This ARC file contains information and files to patch IBM PC-DOS 3.2
  2. There are 2 patches for DOS shown in this file.
  3. The first patch increases the DOS default enviroment size.
  4. The second patch changes the default for ECHO to OFF.
  5.  
  6. Files in this ARC file are :
  7.    DOS32PAT.TXT   - an explaination of the patches.
  8.    DOS32PAT.PAT   - Redirect this file to DEBUG to patch DOS
  9.                     (READ DOS32PAT.TXT before using !!!!)
  10.    DOS32P1.PAT    - This is the patch for the enviroment only
  11.    DOS32P2.PAT    - This is the patch for ECHO OFF only.
  12.                     This patch now works for AUTOEXEC.BAT also !
  13.    DOS32PAT.LOG   - An edited log of the DEBUG process used in
  14.                     DOS32PAT.PAT.
  15.    DOS32P3.PAT    - Patch file for ANSI.SYS to eliminate check for
  16.                     retrace and screen blanking. (SAME for DOS 3.1)
  17.    DOS32P4.PAT    - Patch file for EDLIN.COM to eliminate automatic
  18.                     creation of .BAK files. (Not recommended!)
  19.    DOS32P5A.PAT   - Patch file for PRINT.COM to eliminate query of
  20.                     which printer to use. This file is for PRN: .
  21.    DOS32P5B.PAT   - Same as DOS32P5A.PAT except this file for use
  22.                     with LPT2: .
  23.    DOS32P6.PAT    - This patch file for FIND.EXE eliminates the
  24.                     automatic ------- filename   header.
  25.                     Remember DEBUG does not work on files with
  26.                     a .EXE extension therefore rename FIND.EXE
  27.                     to FIND.TMP before using this file with DEBUG.
